Delete your account

1. How to delete your account from the app

• Open Serelify and sign in with the account you want to delete.
• Go to Profile and open Security and privacy.
• Under the Danger zone section, tap Delete account.
• Read the summary, type your account email to confirm, and tap Delete my account.

Before confirming you can use the Download my data link to export a copy as CSV, JSON, XLSX or PDF. We do not send you a copy automatically: if you do not export first, the data cannot be recovered.

2. If you no longer have the app installed

Email us at serelifyapp@gmail.com from the same address you signed up with, stating that you want your account deleted. We will verify the request comes from the account holder and process the deletion within 30 days at most.

If you write from a different address we will not be able to act on the request: it is the only way we have to confirm the account is yours.

3. What gets deleted

• Your sign-in account, including your email, password and the Google link if you used one.
• All financial data stored on the device: transactions, wallets, budgets, goals, categories, tags, subscriptions and debts.
• Shared wallets and debts you owned, along with their synced entries.
• Your profile: name, avatar photo and any other optional details.
• Your device's notification registration and the history of invitations sent to or from your email.

4. What is kept, and why

• A technical record that this device already used the free trial. It contains no personal data and exists to prevent the trial from being restarted indefinitely. It cannot identify you or recover anything from your account.
• Data other people hold in their own accounts. If someone recorded a debt with you, that record is theirs and stays on their device; it will stop syncing with you, but we cannot delete another person's information.
• Copies you exported yourself to your device or your own cloud. Those are outside our reach.

We may also keep accounting or billing records where the law requires it, without using them for any other purpose.

5. Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Billing is handled by Google Play or the App Store, not by Serelify.

Cancel the subscription in the corresponding store before deleting your account if you do not want it to renew.
